3 heavenly Taiwanese food that you can't miss !!!

    Do you enjoy the food in Toronto? Toronto is a multiple culture city. There are a lot of different food here,so we can eat many hometown food. But we aren't in our countries after all, so we can't bury ourselves in those food very well. 

    Actually, I very miss my hometown food,such as beef noodle,bubble tea,pineapple cake,stinky tofu,shaved ice mountain,spicy hotpot and so on.

They were beef noodle and me in Taiwan.

    There are a lot of delicious food in Taiwan. Taiwanese food is not only cheap but also high quality.Taiwanese people also nice and hospitable.

    I chose 3 delicious Taiwanese food to share and proved Taiwan is a paradise of food.

1. Spicy hot pot

    Taiwanese are crazy about spicy hot pot.We have a lot of hot pot restaurant from low to high quality. The sound of bubbling in pots is filled with all kind of Chinese herbs and spices and create strong, rich flavor for all the raw, fresh ingredients then we can dip those ingredients into our pots. 

    There are not only a lot of all-you-can-eat hot pot but also special bubble tea hotpot. However, if you cannot taste spicy. Don’t worry. There are different kinds of soup, such as milk,tomato,curry taste and so on.

2. Beef noodle

    One of my favorite Taiwanese food is beef noodle!!! They always catch my eye.Because of the popular beef noodle, every year takes place beef noodle festival. The most mouthwatering beef noodle soup that inspires competitiveness and innovation in chefs. Everyone wants to be the “Beef noodle king/Queen”. One of the most expensive beef noodle in the world is $400 (TW$10,000).

    Although it is not easy to afford it, it will have an awesome experience in Taiwan. However,you don't need to spend a pretty penny on beef noodle,you can enjoy this food. Because beef noodle in Taiwan is the cream of the crop in any restaurant , even my mother's cooking.

3. Bubble tea

    I believe that everyone in Toronto almost know " bubble tea". How can you forget the amazing drink? Trust me, it is a drink and also a snack, and better than beer. Bubble tea is representative of the "QQ" ingredients that Taiwanese love. It is very chewy, because of the tapioca balls that are compose of "bubbles" in bubble tea. 

    The interesting thing is that this unique drink was invented out of boredom. Liu Han-Chieh threw some swee tapioca balls into her iced Assam tea in 1988 and one of the greatest Taiwanese food was born. 

    You can choose many different kinds of tea with bubble,such as milk tea,green tea,black tea and so on. In my opinion,oolong tea with bubble is my favorite drink. Nevertheless,if you don't want to gain weight,you can choose half sugar. It will be better for you. 

It is one of popular beverages brands in Taiwan and this is green tea with bubbles.
